Ohh yeahh! Got it out with the help of my friend Cris in about 5 hours, including the clutch and flywheel. We ran into a few annoying problems which delayed us quite a bit but shes out and Ready for the new pin to be put in the flywheel. The clutch is worn alittle too much for our comfort- so why not put a new one in while everythings out, including a new TO bearing and pilot bearing.
Should be ready to go back in as soon as I order the clutch parts and get the flywheel together.. Hopefully by next weekend. ;0
It was a fun day! Figured out the shift linkage problem too, it was that dumb adjuster rod that a lot of you probably know about.
Any suggestions on a sports clutch but for a lot more than OEM?

IME with "sport" clutches, the more agressive ones wear out faster. What you really want is more clamping force on the PP IMO. In the LT1Q we used the stock clutch, but a pretty massive tweek to the PP.

Let seeeee it took you 5 hours just to drop the trans and probably another 5+ hours to replace and adjust for a total of 10+ hours.

Now the question is do I want to do this again within a year, when the clutch finally goes???

Replace the clutch and throwout bearing. Check the PP to see if it also needs replacing.

"No I'm not in kindergarden" So why did you let your kid brother write on your photo????

How did I know someone would fix that picture for me. [;
Yes I am replacing everything for sure. I may leave the pressure plate in because it is good.
