Considering an Audi, and the service/owner experience issue is pretty much the only thing
holding me back from purchasing. I'm really concerned about this, having owned a Lexus
ES300 for 8 years. Although repairs and routine maint. are pricey, I've always felt the
Lexus guys are taking excellent care of me. And I'm not so sure I'll feel that way with Audi.
Thoughts?
Anyone had experience, good or bad, with Park Place Audi in Dallas?

Im a houston resident and ive been reading this board a few months now and have seen fifty fifty comments on Park Place, i have had problems with the dealership in houston in even getting a car so i went to Rod East in San Antonio and got a good deal on a `00 1.8 If you want the salesmans name and number email me, he appears to be dealing pretty well... and with audi advantage u can get it serviced at an audi dealership including Park Place.

Best to drop off the car in the morning and let them have it all day, even for the routine covered maintenance.
At 30k they replaced front rotors and pads and a bad wheel bearing, all under warranty. Took all day.
At 37k they changed oil and replaced the brake fluid and rotated/balanced wheels. This took about 2.5 hours. Later in the week, I noticed a small scratch on one of the wheels that was not there before taking it in for service. Have not brought it to their attention.
Other than that, I'm happy with Central.
Call Oscar Ramirez at Park Place. He's a sales guy, 214-559-4222, but he's very helpful.
