SteveAngry 03-31-2003, 02:36 PM Don't waste your money on just a spring... Get a QLCC chip and spring for under $80... If you're going to boost your car, do it the right way with a modified chip that has timing, etc redone... The QLCC chip is worth every penny... Steve Jensen can tell you more about the QLCC chip and give you Ben's contact info... Steve Michigan SteveAngry 03-31-2003, 02:56 PM Price is $60!!! Cheap!

http://www.homestead.com/Ben_Swann/qlcc.html</a

MrEd 03-31-2003, 03:43 PM I got to the part about auto-tranny, and it said stop reading now...so I did. Shazbot, gotta find me a five speed car... Cheers audiluver 03-31-2003, 03:44 PM Stephen, I want to chip some cars. Let's say I have access to an eprom burner, which parts should I buy ? Which blank eproms ? Do I need a socket as well ? Where to get the spring separately ? Thanks skiddmark 03-31-2003, 04:42 PM You are going to need the correct software and understand how it works to make your own chips. cuatrokoop 03-31-2003, 04:57 PM I've been tellin you that for months!! ;-) cuatrokoop 03-31-2003, 06:42 PM Its like flashing a computers BIOS eprom. Once you have the code, you can duplicate it many many times... MrEd 03-31-2003, 07:03 PM I know I know, and believe me I have been looking, but everybody wants way more than I am willing to spend, I know a deal will come along if I am patient enough, and I am. As a reminder, I paid only $1300CDN for my car, and I guess I put another $1000CDN in parts to bring it up to snuff. So that's the kind of deal I am holding out for. Cheers audiluver 03-31-2003, 08:06 PM I can do it. Or my engineer friend can. What I would love to know is: what part numbers ? etc. ie. which eprom, which socket ? skiddmark 04-01-2003, 08:01 AM |
