my 89 100 has recently developed a shake above 80 mph. basically the wheel vibrates in my hands. Is this an issue with wheel balancing, or is there a chance it could be something else?

could be a number of other things though. First to check after the balance would be alignment and all the suspention\steering bushings. Would say flywheel might have thrown a weight but that would be at rpm's and not speed.
