View Full Version : How durable is the suspension on the 5000cs quattro? the red pill 04-10-2002, 11:38 PM cuatrokoop 04-12-2002, 06:12 AM pretty dern durable...the 5kq has played rally car several times (including catching air at 80mph) on the still stock suspension (everything is original on that car except tires, plugs, wires, cap, stereo, steering rack, slave cylinder, brake pads/rotors, and obviously oil filter). as long as it wasn't too abused, or wrecked, i really wouldn't worry about it. the parts are pretty beefy. the red pill 04-12-2002, 07:02 AM That's what I thought. I figured the suspension was much stronger than my neon. It's actually kind of sad, my 86 5k with 150k miles is in far better condition than my 97 neon with 85k miles ever was. Granted the two are in a completely different league but still, I have already gotten a taste for german quality with this car and I love it. |
