My Audi has been becoming a symphony of squeaks over the past weeks. I thought people might know the causes of these things, the dealers are total clueless. It's really adding up.

1) I can hear popping in the rear speakers whenever I use the brakes. It doesn't doing all the time, about 50%. I can easily hear it when music pauses or when I temporarily turn down the volume all the way. This seems pretty bad, especially for dishing out extra for the Bose.

2) My driver door seems to creak whenever there is acceleration to deceleration. It sounds like its inside the door next to the b-pillar. I tried lubing the door frame seal. no go. It gets worse each day.

3) similar problem with back right door. It sounded like leather rubbing against leather, but the sound goes away when the door is open but just caught on the latch.

4) And then there's the sunroof. This happened from day one. The plastic vent in the sunroof shade squeaks from any little bump.

Am I nutz or is my A4 losening up a bit too much.

Sounds weird but it worked for me. I had the same problem with my car and tried everything. I lowered the window about half way down and waxed the window where it goes into the channel. Used Zymol of coarse.

Just be patient, most of my creaks and squeaks went away over time and I've only had the car 2 months.

Regarding the B-pillar(s) squeeks, I fixed mine by applying a small amount of silicone spray around the top-back edge of the outer B-pillar cover (on the outside, where the rear window frame shuts on it). Try opening your front or rear window when driving - does the squeek go away?
