I have decided to put a leather interior in my '87 Avant. While I was at it, I wondered about putting a 100 dash in the car. At a glance, this would appear simple. I have a wasted '89 100 Quattro sitting around. I have the Bentley 5000 manual but not the 100. Since there are more instruments, does the 100 have more sensors? Is there a point where the wiring harnesses might connect. Why do this, one might reasonably ask. Don't know. Winter is coming and "Idle hands are the Devil's workshop"

There was an add on the Qlist marketplace for a 5000S that was for sale that had the 200 dash and interior put in it. I could'nt even begin to tell you what would need to be swapped as I'm not intimately familiar with the 200's dash electrical setup. The first difference that come's to my mind would be that the speedometer on a 100/200 dash is electrical not cable driven like your 5000 so you'd have to do a little conversion there. You'd also need to place in a oil pressure sensor, oil temp sensor, etc that your 5000 doesn't have...
Good luck and kudos if you get it to work! I've thought about it myself...
