OK - bizarre problem with my 86 5ks with 160k miles. I was on an 8-hour highway trip in hot weather with the AC cranked as cold as it would blow. I felt some hesitation at highway speeds, then it stalled. Happened 3 times on the same trip until I left it at the dealer to fix. He replaced fuel filter and some connections to the alternator. Other day, I'm driving on highway with the AC on again, and it starts to hesitate again. So I turned off the AC, and it was fine. So, what could be happening with the AC to make the car hesitate and stall? HELP

Perhaps its over heating have checked the temperature gauge when this happens if its over the half way mark with the ac on you should have the coolent system checked.

That multi function sensor will turn your a/c compressor off or something if your car begins the stages of overheating. Thats all I know. Drive through.
