You know something guys, I never really did find out if the the 5K had incandescent instrument lights just like normal cars do. I can see the red lights on top shining on my instruments but they're so darn dim, it annoys me..

Anyone ever brighten up their display? I'm contemplating those "rice"ed up blue or red light tubes and sticking 'em on there......that is, after I get my door handle fixed.

they are dim because your supposed to keep your eys on the road while driving, without any distractions from dashboard lights. they are red just like the hud (heads up display) lighting in F16 cockpits. red is the least distracting color for a cockpit. on the other hand a red idiot light can also be the most annoying. :)
