I have an 84' 5000s non-quattro or turbo. I am installing a new radio andI cant find the ignition swtich wire. When I bought the car it didnot have the factory radio in it. And it was wired so i had to turn it off manualy. I was woundering what that wire looks like or if i could run a new wire from somwhere. Any type of help is apreciated. Thanks

I'm not sure if your '84 is the same, but my '89 200Q is wired so that the radio can be powered with the ignition switch on or off. I have seen many other Audi models the same, so it appears to be a design feature. You must turn off the radio manually. Mine has a warning chime that sounds when you open the door if the radio was left on.
