I am trying to replace my ignition switch. I have an 87 5000. I have gotten to it and attached the new one to the harness but I have no idea how to get the old one from the bracket and how the new one goes in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

one on top of the switch, the other on the bottom. The easiest way I found is to pull the instrument cluster (pull the wheel, the switch gear, then the cluster comes right out).
