My sunroof is having problems. I have a 91 200 20V and the sunroof when being opened only goes about 2 inches and it shuts off. Then I have to take it apart and hand crank it to shut it. Has anyone else had this same problem? What do you suggest?

mine did the same.. but I just smack that little spring loaded lever that rubs against the big round guy in there (Im full of technical terms) and it works.

I checked the position of the settings so they line up like in the manual- the three volume Robert Bentley manual put out by AOA. Is there something else you are referring to, or can you tell me a little more? I think that I've tried just about everything..... or maybe not?

I had the same thing happen on my 87 5000, one of the micro switches that rides on the cam is bad. This controls the speed of the motor. I carefully took the defective switch out and went to Radio Shack, bought an identical one and replaced it. I had to adjust the lever on the new one to match but it works fine.
