I believe Carfax may still have the free reports, they did at one time. Try a "Google" search on "Carfax free".

Formatting is a bit screwy w/ the new web page but you'll figure it out. I'm going to guess the car wasn't drivable for a good part of 90's... either that or the odometer is broken :-)
