I have a small problem, the the conrtol head will not illuminate , so i have isolated the problem to the programer unit which is simply not reciving the 12 volts it needs to operate the system aperated flawlessly for a while then it just went "out". The system still works because i hooked up an auxillery 12v battery to the programer and it works fine. All of the relays apear to be working. Could somone please help me with this problem?

Do you have a Bentley? If so, you can see where the A/C programmer gets its juice from and test to see if you can get 12v there. If you can, there's a break in the wiring (not heard of that happening ever). My guess is that the plug is not seated correctly, or the supply wire is broken at the plug pin.

Let us know what you find out!

ive checked that wire for power, i think it was black with blue spots, it does not have any but when i connect 12 volts there the entire system works fine but the wire from the aux 12 volt source is bigger than the programers wire and it still heats up

i found the problem, ends up that there is a red 4 cable connector that could not handle the voltage ftom the ac system. The black and Blue cable that run into this connecttor fried its own connection, so i simply cut the black and blue connector from each end and tied them together using a wire nut leaveing the other 3 contacts in place using the connector.
