After getting the alternator fixed in my 91 100 the mechanic told me that he disconnected the a/c or removed a tube.

looking at my engine bay i noticed that there is a tube missing that goes from the air filter box to somewhere im guessing could be the a/c compressor. they left me the tube they removed which has one end that im guessing goes into the air filter box and then it splits into two hoses that im assuming goes to the a/c compressor. if anyone has any idea what this hose does.. please help out.

This is a thick round black plastic(not rubber) hose that splits into 2 flexible hoses and connects towards the front of the grill...

Does that sound like it? If so, simply reconnect it back into the airbox and mount the 2 hose end right up aganist the backside of the grill between the timing belt cover and the power steering pump...
