Has anybody swapped out the quad headlamps (84-85) for the single flush headlamps? Both cars are the "s" model. From what i could tell the wiring is a little different between the two. What kinds of wiring modifications can i expect, and is there a web site that sells these parts? I cannot find any info on the internet with the exception of swapping for the european lamps which i cannot afford, and the Bentley manual is out of my range for the time being (struggling college student). Any information is appreciated.

those old quad style headlights are a bit better than the "aero" style ones when it comes to visability. I've often thought of converting my aero style headlights to the quad setup as a cheap alternative to the eurolights...

Anyways, if you dont get an answer here, try www.audifans.com. I'm sure someone over there has done the transplant...

Thanks for your help Steve, i agree the quad headlamps have better visability, but look bad (in my opinion). I will probably stick to my stock headlights, im hesitant on messing with the wiring...
