Hey what's up people I just signed up to this site after seeing there is a forum dedicated to Audi 5000's
My question is: what exactly is the difference between CS and S versions of the Audi 5000? I have 2 1987 Audi 5000S and one Audi 5000CS...the only difference I see is the back lights? Is that it?
Thanks
Peace Out
Luis

My CS doesn't have heated seats, Turbo or Quattro. Maybe somebody changed the emblem? But I checked and it looks real. I was searching around and this is supposed to have more options available correct? But maybe they didn't install any extra options but it's still a CS. ugh!!! I'm so confused!!!

S or CS signifies different levels of trim. Generally the CS models had more options standard than the S versions. However you could add almost all the options to the S model without it being a CS. Then it was labeled a 5000S custom.
The turbo engined 5000's were the only ones that came with the nicer rear tail lights/headlights. Those tail lights/headlights did'nt really have anything to do with S or CS badging IMHO...
To find out if your car is a S or CS check out the VIN or look at your title....
