Testors Enamel paints...

I was familiar with these from my younger days making plastic models...

The color is Transparent Candy Apple Red. It takes about 3-4 light coats to kill the factory orange, and some touch up to get the corners and things. I then go over it with two to three layers of Testors High Gloss.

In retrospect, I am going to go back and make the reverse lights factory size again.
