i was low on my hydraulic fluid . i filled it up and the light went right off..
i appreciate the help and probably will need more. thanks a lot..

the Hydralic fluid is leaking:) It can get very expensive if you have to keep refilling the tank with Green Gold.

how did you know i had a leak?? that shoulnt be too exspensive to fix should it?? oh. and by the way the green gold costs 17 bucks for a pint

New/rebuilt pumps and racks can be expensive. So are some of the high pressure hydralic hoses if they start to go:(

Try www.partsconnection for the cheapest place to buy Pentosin(green gold) I think I've seen it listed there for $11 before...

Do you know where the leak(s)are?

...or the high pressure hose from the pump to the rack, 'specially if its the original.

I just replaced the rack, the HP hose to the rack, and the return line from the rack to the resevoir on my TQW. The factory HP hose was $120, owwwwww!!!

But on the bright side, theres no leaks, a new smooooth rack and a happy driver behind the wheel. Gotta straighten the wheel tho, its about 10 degrees rotated left of center.

A/C system is next!!
