I recall that several months ago someone posted the time it took to go from some speed like 60mph to 100mph in 5th gear. Out of curiousity, I would like to know if my stock 1.8tqtr sport 5-spd would perform the same as anyone else's 1.8t 5-spd. Even better, I'd like to know what the time difference would be with a chipped 1.8t. I guess the only requirement is that the car has a manual trans. To be safe, I would like to suggest performing this test with a passenger doing the stopwatch duties from 50mph to 80mph in 5th gear. Anyone willing to try this test? I'm very tired, so if this is just plain syupid, please forgive me. If not I'd like to see some posted results. TIA.
Paul C

I've visited before and had forgotten how much info there is there. Just having returned from the Audi Zone, I would like to commend Don for doing such a great job of collecting data and posting it for the use and pleasure of the A4 community. Being one who collects data for a living (I'm a chemist), I can appreciate how much work has gone into his website and I would like to express my gratitude for his help. For those who don't believe his data, well too bad. Collect your own and post it! :-P
I especially like the commute to work. Sic 'em Don!
Steve Mac
