I have a 98.5 2.8 MS. The car only has 11.5K miles on it and already I have experiencing<br>problem with the rear shocks. The car gives a definite thumping noise and feels like it is bottom-out when it was going over bumps. I have scheduled a service appt with my dealer and <br>they will replace both shocks, but does anyone else have this problem.

It was either a Boge or Sachs shock. If it matters, it was the right rear shock.<p>Steve S.<br>97 2.8QM

The right rear shock was the first to go out then the left one. I felt something was not quite<br>right about the right rear shock about 10K miles, but thought that may be I was going the bump<br>a little too fast then the problem got worse and more frequent.
