You're only talking about a minimal improvement in hp (~5) if any, unless you go with a cone setup (which would require some sort of cold air bath system due to its proximity to the turbo). Also, there was a post a while back on the racing forum discussing flow testing (done on BMW filters) of stock (paper) filters vice K&N (don't recall if they tested others too). If I recall correctly it indicated a slight advantage for the K&N when it was new, but it allowed more dirt/dust particles through. After X number of miles the paper filter had the advantage (due to the fact that it had more folds and hence a larger surface area. It's good information if you can find it burried in the archives; sorry but I'm too lazy to hunt for it ;-).

DO NOT GO WITH RAM. IT ROYALLY FUC*ED MY CAR UP. The sticky Residue that they use got all in the system..check engine light was on for ever.....car was in shop for two weeks. They had to clean out my whole engine. I drove it out the lot and 50 miles later, the light was back on!!!!!!!1
