UrS4boy 02-06-2008, 10:44 AM plates, e.g. from AMD or 2Bennett, there isn't much that can be done, aside from potentially adjusting the subframe so the caster is equal on both sides. audidrvr 02-06-2008, 11:10 AM So the toe can still be adjusted but the camber/caster is the only problem? what would the caster limitations be? UrS4boy 02-06-2008, 11:35 AM subframe so caster is even on both sides. Caster spec is +55' +/- 40' (Not adjustable). Camber spec is -50' +20'-40' (Where 60' = 1 deg) Toe = +15'+5'-10' According to the Haynes "manual" I have (Bentley is at home). audidrvr 02-06-2008, 11:45 AM running ~-1.5° camber. All other adjustments can be adjusted within spec? Dont get me wrong, I know that c/c plates are far better than not having any but it looks like I will be doing shock/spring combo for a year or so before I buy coilovers and c/c plates. I need to many things at the moment to bring the car to the level I need to compete in the spring so I can't spend all of the money on just the suspension. If I can get away with just the shocks/springs for now then I am not going to worry about the plates until I buy coilovers too. ThetaTau87 02-06-2008, 12:21 PM Do the igor mod to your camber plates and you can get them is spec for nearly free. UrS4boy 02-06-2008, 12:24 PM audidrvr 02-06-2008, 12:28 PM |
