This might work out well. In the front I'd like the full fenders and in the back from just inside the door all the way around the arch (5-6" from the edge would be nice). Essentially the full arch, plus a bit of flat quarter panel so that it won't be a headache to weld in.

I have, yup. I think I'm going to chop off the flat edge of the fender (parallel to the wheel), mount up the rest of the fender, buy a fender roller and roll the arch slightly (to make the angle more horizontal), weld on some sheet metal and then weld on the edge of the fender. Should work nice in the front, but I'm not too sure if things will turn out so easy in the back.

The only bit left to figure out is how I should blend the bottoms of the arches into the rockers/bumpers. If there is one thing I'm certain on keeping though, it's the dual color scheme that pearl URS4's have going on. The rockers/trim/bumper bottoms will definitely be staying black, so the bottoms of the fenders will probably be rock guarded to match.
