Customs Offices &amp; Border Crossings
There are two Candian Ports of Entry located in the South Kootenay, the Patterson crossing and the Waneta crossing. There is also one additional office at Nelway, -about an hour South-East of Trail, BC on BC highway 3.



Hours of Operation

The Patterson Canadian port of entry is located 6 km South of Rossland on highways US25 and BC22 and operates 24 hours a day 365 days per year. The hours are the same for the USA port of entry (Frontier WA).
The Waneta Canadian port of entry is located 17 km South of Trail. It's hours of operation are from 09:00 - 17:00 365 days a year. The hours are the same for the USA port of entry (Boundary WA). US highway access is via Northport or Leadpoint, Washington

I GUESS IT WOULD BE IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT THE NORTHPORT CROSSING IS ONLY OPEN TILL FIVE PM.
