I had my gas pedal fall off the other day in my 1995.5 S6, and I was wondering where can get a replacement pedal? It's not that big of a deal right now but I would like to put a new one in. I posted a few weeks ago about some brake problems with my car. It felt like I didn't have power brakes, and the brake light wouldn't go off. So the other day I was coming home from work, and I decided that while my car has this problem, I would drive my older 87 5000s. And as soon as I pull in to my driveway, the brake light kicks off, and the brakes were fine. I still drove the 5000s later that day, but then it started to rain and I decided to drive the S6 again, and the light went right out. That was about a week ago, and still no problems, with the brakes. I personally like to thank the Audi Gods for fixing my problem.

It's not that expensive. Look on S-cars.org Parts Direct and you should see it.

You can rig a replacement hinge at the pivot point with a little Yankee engineering. This is not the type that Mr. Forgie prefers thus the reference to yankee ;>)

Hap, wit dakine eeeeeeeengineering thoughts not from Evahboost, Maguire

Eventually bought a new gas pedal and replaced it.
