hint #1: my new car has waaaaay better handling than S4 stock vs stock.
hint #2: my new car brakes waaaaaay better than S4 stock vs stock
hint #3: my new car is as much in fun the dry, as my s4 in the snow/rain
and back to the topic, stock S4 in 5th gear pwned my new car going in 3rd gear 60mph-90mph roll, basically that sweet spot in S4 when turbo spools up to the max.

BMW 328i, 145,000 kms, 4 door, 5 speed manual transmission, new clutch, M steering wheel and shifter, fully loaded, leather, sunroof, traction control, 6 disc CD changer, 2 sets of tires and wheels (snow and summer), aircared to June 2009.
This car has damage to the front quarter panel and front driver's side door. They will probably need to be replaced. Otherwise, it is in excellent mechanical shape and with a bit of body repair will be a very nice car hence the very low price.
I want to sell this fast so I can free up my garage space. $5,000 obo

Several reasons I didn't initially...
1) Photo being taken of you BY the M
2) You never joke around...(never)
...and 3) Although they lack the S4's torque, M's were bigger on horsies than a stock S, and slimmer by a long-shot. Figured it was no contest. Never actually "raced" one on the open road, PLUS I have a soft spot for that car, especially the Estoril Blue/Camel. Fun to drive in the twisties, too, oh yeah.
LOL- "passenger and A/C on..." I know you're serious, but you should have added, "there was a dead wallaby in the trunk, AND my blinker fluid was low."
Thanks for the lesson.
Cheers,

Ok, yeah, I like the E30 M's classic lines even better, and the E46 is more brutish, but the E36 was iconic in the 90's. Gotta give it props as a driver's car, even if it wasn't the quickest thing going.

supporting Mr Fru-T pants.
For most of us, price IS a primary object of the car decision. E46 BMW's are in the 35-40K range?
If I won Mass Mega Millions tonight, it wouldn't matter but that's hope not reality.
Having driven a Dinan S2 equipped 1998 M3, for that money that car was really fun to drive. RWD car with the long caster angles , light weight chassis all for 1/2 the E46 price.
