Tip: On A4s with hidden washer jets (99.5+), if you remove the black plastic wing from the driver's side wiper you'll get more fluid on the windshield quicker.

You can't miss it, it is annoying as hell!

..at least, that's what happened to me when I removed mine once. I wouldn't have believed that little wing could make a difference, but it does.

I don't know if the wing's intended purpose was to deflect air in order to keep bugs off the windshield (or provide more downforce to the wiper blade), but it seems to deflect enough air to make a noticeable difference in bug splats...
