I currently own an integra gs-r, but I love the audi a4. It's a beautiful car, but there is a lack of power in the 1.8T. GreedSpeed makes a turbo upgrade that is supposed to make 195hp with good reliability. If anybody has any info for me I would appreciate the help.
Thanks

the turbo upgrade is a K04 turbo that'll give you about 225 hrsepower. Other companies make chips and turbo upgrades too. I have the one from Greedspeed.

I have had several performance upgrades on my car in the short time I've owned it.
So far I've had the Neuspeed 0.8 Bar chip, bought from Greedspeed. This has got to be the most bang for the buck...don't be fooled by nay sayers who will dog it because it's cheap. Neuspeed by far have the most current and up to date build of any tuner I've run into so far. I had another chip which was built around a rather old rev of the engine control software and it ran in a lack luster fashion...car was hard to start, pinged ect ect. Neuspeed is a good deal from a competent source. If I were to do a chip only upgrade I'd stick to Neuspeed or MTM. MTM obviously being a lot more expensive.
I've had an APR 1.0 Bar ECU...pulled pretty good but ran in a shady fashion...car was hard to start in the morning and it pinged under heavy load. I hope these guys start to build on newer code, I'd bet that if they did they'd find many of their pinging or hard start complaints would be a thing of the past. But alas I think the problem is they don't want to put P code into the M boxes they're selling because they may not fully understand the implications of doing so...actually I was offred the opportunity to be a guinea pig for just such a test. I kindly declined the offer and sent the ECU back...no hard feelings, nice product but it needs some polishing.
Finally I'm on to what I think I'm going to stick with for a while. I currently have the Neuspeed K04 kit. If you don't mind working on cars this is a pretty damn good upgrade for the money $1500 gets you a new turbo and engine control software...ohh and a whole lot faster car :) This while not the easiest of upgrades is one of the best...the torque is smooth, very very linear compared to ALL of the chips I've driven (APR did feel smoother than the Neuspeed 0.8 Bar but had more problems, but APR was 1.0 bar so it may have been a related effect) car just keeps pulling right up to about 5700...K03 cars will peter out much lower, you'd be wise to shift at that point.
Anyhow those are the options I've tried. If you decide to get one (A4 that is) and you live in the SoCal area I might be willing to help you with your installation.
