94S4 idles fine and runs strong to redline in first but at about 15lbs boost in second it bogs and feels like every other cylinder is missing. In 3rd 4th and 5th same thing but at lower boost. I had the codes checked but no indication of a faulty coil pack or POS (really seems this could be the problem though. I cant find any boost hose leaks, any chance this could be a bad diverter valve or injectors? Any advice would be appreciated

is. This comes up almost EVERY week, including last week. Follow the links and the procedures to track down what seems to be a coil problem.
If it is a coil or coils, there are alternatives to the OE coils.

Link to missing and hesitation diagnostic procedure in the FAQ

Thanks, is there an easy way to identify which coil pack is bad? or should I just save my time and convert to 1.8T coil packs?

Old-school-thinking meets the instant gratification generation.
Wouldn't it be cool if they could just gratify themselves?
Wait, that came out wrong...

Must we be so serious? We're enjoying older Audi's; a sense of humor is an absolute necessity.

Instead of complaining about the tone or content of the postings, *you* could help the guy out, right?

Searching the archives and attempting your own diagnosis and repair shows that you're willing to do something other than spend thirty seconds typing in a query, then expecting the correct answer in a respectful tone.
I'm more than willing to help some guy who's in up to his neck, but I'm not as willing to help someone who's made no apparent effort to help himself.
Especially on the coil/POS issue.
Of course, I'm speaking for myself on this - other folks might have a different opinion, and they can certainly dig in and help...

As long as I get my question answered after the smoke clears up. I agree, that IS part of the fun!

Try it. Go to the FAQ page (link in my sig) and then go EDIT, Find in Page, and type in what you are looking for, e.g. "POS", etc.
I can't control where the posts are now that they are there. They are where they are. Find in Page works a treat.

one that is causing you grief.
Replacement coils are around $115 each. Try FAP99.
Or contact Apikol for a 1.8 coil kit, but only if you are no higher than RS2 mods.

Just an idea to make it obvious to new people, as it is a good resource and shound be used and updated often.

Agree....a link to the FAQ sticky to the top of the forum would be a great improvement.
I don't understand why Audi World is the only online forum I've seen (or host / moderate,) that doesn't do this by default.
