I was browsing the ALT.AUTOS.AUDI newsgroup and came across an ad for new 1.8T motors. Just for the record I don't know this person. Just thought there might be some general interest. here it is:

I am proud to announce a a sale of factory new 1.8T 20v motor packages
directly from Germany. The base package includes: motor, dual mass
flywheel, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, turbo, coil packs, wiring
harnesses, water pump, and fuel injection. The base package also includes
shipping and handling to any US international airport. The base package
price is $3000, and for $3300 an ECU w/o imobilizier is included as well.
As it stands those are the two packages available at the moment, but in
the next 2 days I will have confirmation of two other packages which will
also include: Air Mass Sensor, Pressure Regulator Valve, Hoses, and possibly
an Intercooler. Possibly some KKK K04 turbos ready to fit to the 1.8T
motors as well. The packages containing extra equipment will not be much
more expensive than the two offered packages as the source must sell these
motors.
At this time there are 23 motors ready for shipment from Germany. This
is the lowest price that a factory new 1.8T 20v motor can be purchased for
