Simple Green (Marine). You can find it at your local Boater's World, West Marine, or boater dive joint of your choice.
No green slimey residue, and no odor. This stuff isn't caustic (very gentle). This stuff is great.
Currently cleaning out my door entry trim. Warm water + Simple Green Marine with a toothbrush cleans 'em right up. Then I'm replacing the screw covers with new strips when that's finnished. But, not until I wrap the edges of my B-pilar trim in felt tape. Taking the car apart is so much fun!!!
