My flywheel with 135k on it that I had to reuse thanks to the genius at autozone who couldn't tell a flywheel from a master cylinder:

The new throw-out bearing is quite a bit thicker than the old one. Seems to work fine though.

Did you do this job by yourself or did you have someone else helping you? I'm just wondering if it can be done with just one person.

did you scuff it up a bit or get it resurfaced at a place like Southbend clutch?

my brother &amp; I would play on/with it and either hurt or kill ourselves. heheh, this is probably very true. As it was we had enough fun "riding" the big garage door up as it opened. This worked until we became too heavy and would set-off the weight&amp;pressure measuring safety mechanism. We also would have races back &amp; forth underneath it as it closed....again, good thing for the pressure safety switch.

yea, we woulda definately hurt ourselves had we a lift hahahahah.

I don't generally work fast, and this was the first clutch job I've done. As the pictures show I don't have a transmission jack, which consumed a lot of time. If I did it over again I'd spend the $300 and get one. I was planning on renting one but I couldn't find a decent one available.
