If I were to put an aftermarket CD player in the dash of my 99 A4 Avant 1.8 would I still have full functioning of the alarm and locking features? I've heard that on some cars the radio has some of the electronics in it, so if you replace the radio you cannot use the remote locking. Also, would I lose the ability to program the control module?
