Just had the right side lower link on my '96 A4 2.8QM replaced for the second time in two months (covered by warranty) due to noise, like a bad balljoint. And no, I'm not using the car for off-roading! There are only 36,000 miles on this suburban-driven creampuff. Has anyone else been having this problem? This does not leave me with a warm feeling now that the car is out of warranty, and we haven't started on the left side yet. Plus, my guess is that this is not a normal $25 balljoint, but more like a $250 piece!
