The Oettinger S4 with a 4.2 A8 V8 is not the only nor the first such installation. Prof. Rudolf von K., who sometimes posts on this forum, and his associates some time ago put this engine (or perhaps it was the smaller displacement model) in an A4. I do not know the details nor the result, except that I have heard the performance was spectacular.

Would Prof. von K. please tell us the details?
