Reducing the Wastegate spring turns does seem to help a bit. Also clamping the max boost (I have an MBC in parallel so I dial in any max boost limit I want) doesn't seem to help

Either way the problem can still happen - even in lower gears and lower amounts of boost.

I suspect this is the ECU doing a "throttle cut" (same thing can happen when crossing 7.5K RPM), however in this case I guess it looks like ECU doesn't like the <B>Rate</B> at which boost &amp; RPMs build.

Yeah, it's called the ECU doesn't like you messing around with what it wasn't programmed to do.
