Default Overheating a Urs4

I have been told that the i-5s dont take well to overheating. The car I am looking at has been overheated due to a bad temp sensor or something and was repaired properly with a head deck and new hg. The car overheated in the driveway when it was left unattended for a couple hrs. Is there any permanent damage to the head or block when they have been overheated? Has anyone who has overheated there car had problems down the road after it has been repaired correctly?

Default well these heads are known to crack, but i would say if it's not loosing coolant after the repair

its probably ok for now. if it happens again, cracks may appear.

Default It overheated while it sat for about 2 hrs to recharge the battery

after sitting in the garage for a long time. The t sensor was not working and it blew a HG. The head was warped slightly so a new HG was put on and the head decked.
