Still no air filter. I'm off with my wife tonight for a little R&amp;R so I won't get to drive it anytime soon. As soon as we get back I'm off on a business trip for another week ;-(

As Alvin pointed out, my wife has an '01 A6 4.2. It does have Bilstein HDs , H-Sport sway bars and Nav Plus but its our going to town car. In a spirit of cooperation, Dave Jones, my tuner, loaned me his supercharged Nissan frontier pick-up. In a very generous spirit of cooperation, he's been driving various other cars belonging to Mike Pederson. When Mike's Green Garbage Can was dismantled last5 week, they needed the truck to haul stuff away so I got to drive the Black S6 Avant. Its been very nice to have a 6 speed wit dakine powah to get acclimated back to the power delivery of these cars before I jump back into the Green Monstah.
