does anybody know if the PN for the RPM sensor and crank sensor is the same??

Although my car originally had both the same part no.s! So I bought new ones w/correct part no.
and swapped them (while trying to track down my G28 sensor glitch) they work perfectly the same even when swapped.
Why did I swap them ? I noticed that the stock Harness connectors were setup with Grey connector for the Ignition Sensor, opposite to the color coding quoted in ETKA
034905381 Black Ignition Sensor
034905381A Grey RPM Sensor

thanks.just bought the rpm sensor cause it was bad now my crank sensor is bad
went to put my new rpm sensor in today at school...but the metal sleeve was stuck inside the housing...then i figured i would remove the whole housing but one of the bolt heads is rounded...figured i'd heat it up so i go to remove my crank sensor and its broken too...barely even pulled it and it ripped apart...so that is now my project for tomorrow...5 minute sensor change turns into 2 day project
