avant rear wiper issues
the spring tension on my rear wiper is pretty much non-existant now.. when you run the wiper it just skips over most of the glass. Can it be adjusted? Should I just replace the spring? Anybody had this happen to them?

the joint itself might be corroded
try lubing that. If nothing else, you could probably find a used one. The best solution is a new wiper arm, which i'd imagine isn't too expensive.

good suggestions
I'm not optomistic that lube will help. The joint seems to move ok, there's just no tension against the glass which seems to be controlled by the spring in the arm unit. Should be the same as the non //S car wagons so if they are pricey new I imagine a used one would work just fine.

coming along
I update my progress on motorgeek, here's my project thread:

basically I'm still working on the engine mounts. I made a mistake by cutting off the factory mounting locations from the body. I'm pretty sure the engine would have fit with them in place. The path of least resistance for the ABZ is to fabricate new engine mounting arms to meet up to the factory location.
I chose to redo the body mounts with the thought that I could use the stock PT (3.6) mounts. Unfortunately the block for the ABZ is completely different and they wont bolt up.
The current plan is to fabricate an intermediary bracket to go between my mount and the factory ABZ engine arms (since making new arms is non-trivial.. the passenger side bracket has to go around the starter motor). I may still end up making new arms.. we'll see.
here's a pic to give you an idea. I still need to re-inforce the adapter bracket (the engine will come down about 1/8"), certainly not the finished product by any means:

I've got the wiring harness on my floor at home and have been picking at that as a side project since I usually only get to spend a full day at the shop on the weekends.
I've set a deadline for may 15th as I've signed up for track time at NHIS and I'd really like to bring the coupe..
