Dyno tested my car last Saturday. Pics and videos inside. (BWW)
My car (black S6) and another guy's S6 Avant ran on the dyno.
Atmospheric conditions:
About 500ft. altitude ASL
About 20F airtemp
Dyno was in a garage with the garage door wide open and the door open.
My notes:
I'm not quite sure what exactly is happening at about 4500 RPM, but it is consistent with what I feel while I'm driving. My car had been sitting for about 40 mins after being fully warmed up and the intake manifold was pretty warm, as was the hose between the throttle body and the stock intercooler. Next winter when conditions are similar I'll run with my Tom Mullane FMIC and VMAP set to 3.0 bar, maybe try 100 octane. It's quite obvious that the RS2 exhaust manifold helps the engine breathe better up top--even without an aftermarket exhaust. :O
My car:
MTM Stage I+ from Steve Eiche @ Shadetreesoftware.
VMAP set to 2.8 bar
710N DV, about 3 months old
N75J WGFW, about 3 months old
Spark plugs about 4 months old and 2k miles
2 new POS, about 12 months old.
Samco intake hoses
92 octane from some random gas station, didn't pick & choose.
Pearl S6 Avant:
MTM Stage I from Anderson Motorsport. I'm assuming a standard 3.0 bar MAP sensor.
RS2 exhaust manifold, stock exhaust

That's my Pearl S6 Avant
That's my Pearl S6 Avant
Lehman stage 1 so no 3bar sensor, K&N and RS2 manifold
The dyno on the bottom
237 hp and 246 ftlbs torque..seems high for stage 1
Nice flat power band
Air/fuel at 11.75 flat all the way
HRSB goes on in 2 days!

Hi Jon, I thought you said you had MTM and with the Anderson sticker on your car, I also assumed you
...got it from them. No obfuscation intended.
If you have better shots of your dynographs, feel free to post them. The one I got of yours was taken while you were holding it.
You just have the stock 2.5 bar MAP sensor?

Yep.

I had originally wanted a Audi CPO 2001.5 (AEB motor) A4 1.8Tq after deciding I didn't want to deal with 2.7T turbos and not quite being able to afford a B6 S4. Test drove a few A4 1.8T stock and with just a chip. It wasn't significantly faster than my CQ or 90CS quattro (2.8) off the line. On the highway the gearing didn't allow me to go much faster than my previous cars either as far as top speed. The kicker was I couldn't find a single black on black A4 1.8Tq 5spd in the entire country that was CPO. If I did, I'd probably have an A4 right now. My CQ was pearl and I hated it--I guess I'm just a black on black kind of guy. Given so much time to think, I decided that with the A4, I'd be spending alot of money and not really getting a better car--why not buy another 90CS quattro for a couple grand? Then it dawned on me, urS4/S6. With basic mods it's not as fast as a B5 S4 (with basic mods) or a stock B6 S4, but it's a hellofalot less money. It's also way more comfortable interior space wise. The only thing I wish the S4/6 had was folding rear seats. Not used 99% of the time sure, but real handy when you need it.
