has anyone modded their gas pedal? i dont really like how it has that spring on it..
i would rather it be just solid seems it would be better "feel"
Has anyone taken off, idk what to call it, the springy part of the gas pedal? that i guess conforms to your foot? seems pointless...
Also, i had to rev my engine when autozone tested my alternator and no matter what i do, my car will jump up and down from say 2200-2600 RPM. I have thought while cruising i can feel the car pulsate (like pull and stop and pull and stop) what could this be? doesnt do it only under boost IIRC but it might be somthing like right when the turbo is about to spool, like the turbo is spooling and backing off maybe? idk if its related to my 2200-2600 fluxuation, maybe? any ideas are welcome thanks guys.
EDIT, also is it normal to hear a click and a buzzing from drivers side when heater is turned on?

The springy part on mine broke off, I just have the bare pedal arm.
I will have to get a pedal that lets me heel-toe. I'll probably get a thick piece of plastic and epoxy it on, tape some griptape on top of it. F' the $100 pedal sets.

well that spring thing just seems so dumb to me, i liek your idea, make the pedal higher, but not
springy, i think ill stick somthing in there and glue it so it still says OOOO on it but doesnt spring and crap.
do you have and ideas about my idle/surge problem??
and i guess that tickign when i turn the heat on and a buzzing is normal?

I like to have my toe on the brake and heel on the throttle. The throttle is too far down to do..
...that now. I will mod the pedal a bit, but it has to warm up outside first.

Yes - I took out the flapper/spring bit when I installed these
