Installed HIR bulbs: a little better then sliverstars, but now way 75% of HID....
#2
I've been driving around and the HIDs I have installed seem to be brighter than a lot of OEM HIDs
I was stopped right next to a TT with HIDs and we were both facing a wall. My HIDs were definitely brighter. I hope I don't end up with a vehicle inspection.

OK, I'm convinced...HK HID's on the way.
slip slip slippery slope. Why spend $80 on HIR bulbs when you can spend $200 on HID and have an order of magnitude better lighting for only a little more than double the price?
Any opinions on the kit in my link? I wish they had a kit that was a little lower on the Kelvin scale, but I can just change bulbs later right?

h ttp://www.cqlight.ca/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=23_27&products_id=42</a

I paid $150 for my McCollough based kit. Lost the details but maybe Turbo_Anarchy has them.
5300k if I recall correctly. Cleaning the projector made a huge difference as well.

I was going to say the same thing last night. But it looked like he had already bought some.
and they were about the same price anyways. Hey thanks for turning me on to those lamps, I am really happy with them. Tabula Rasa, I hope you like them too. And will you please get Bushy a Kleenex. 8)
