Default I think IA has carbon fibre replacements according to their website...

I am thinking of replacing mine as well soon.

Default Changing the diaphram is WAY more work than just changing the spring. Personally, I would...

just change the spring (six nuts) and leave changing the diaphram for when it starts leaking. I have two new WG diaphrams in my trunk box and I am not concerned about changing the diaphram until it needs it. Failure does not constitute a towing situation like a fuel pump or a cam position sensor.

Default My cap won't come off without tearing it... I have tried prying on the cap, won't work!

and the only way i see puling the cap off is to destroy the diaphragm

Did you try small jeweller's flat bladed screwdrivers? Mine gave it up when I used them.

Strike the side with a rubber mallet while holding the cap so it doesn't pop off. Easier than prying

Use a wood chisel - the flat side against the diaphram so it will not damage it.
