Default Oh no, my Warranty is Voided ! What will the dealer say ?

-----------------------------------------
VAG-COM Version: Release 512.0-D

Control Module Part Number: 4A0 907 551 AA
Component and/or Version: 2,2l R5 MOTR.RHV HS D03
Software Coding: PMC 1
Work Shop Code:
2 Faults Found:
00513 - Engine Speed Sensor (G28)
27-10 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent
00543 - Maximum Engine Speed Exceeded -- Engine Warranty VOID!
06-10 - Signal too High - Intermittent
-----------------------------------------

Ok, so I maxed out the RPM's and now my warranty is void. Do you think the Dealer will still service my 1993 200K mi with GT3071 & FMIC ?

All kidding aside I still have the random engine drop-out at 4~6K esp 3rd gear pulls at WOT at full boost, under load. But it can happen in 2nd, or 3rd at part throttle and even 1.0~1.5 Bar boost going up a hill.

I have all new coil packs now and it's smoother but still the same.

It is always followed by a G28 fault code. It seems to be worse when I have more turns on the WG (was +3, now at +1 and it still drops-out).

Could this be the knock sensors causing massive timing retard ? Although 91, it seems to happen even at partial boost and I never hear any pinging.

Default As odd as it sounds...have you checked your grounds?

I know at least on the Subaru side of things, people have gotten rid of hesitation by adding ground wires.

Default I redid the Coil-Pack Ground Wire and added extra grounding on Head and Intake Manifold

With thicker gauge. No luck.

Double check all your coil wiring making sure there are no shorting issues between wires. I had the same problem with the same codes you're describing. I found a short because of cracked insulation on my wiring where it goes into one of my coils. I re-did all of my wiring and replaced the affected coils.
