Coolant Leak

I have a coolant leak on the passenger front side of the car (95.5 S6 Avant). It appears to be leaking from the seam where the white arrow is on my photo, but could be flowing down from somewhere else and this is just where it is dripping. Any thoughts, or past history of a similiar leak? It isn't leaking from the hose clamp in the picture like I had hoped. The fuzzy hose in the upper right of the picture is the air inlet to the turbo from the airbox. Thanks, Rich

is this "coolant" blue, by chance?
because that's the headlight washer you're pointing to...and that yellowish diamond-patterned hose should connect to the windshield washer tank on the other side of the car.

Brilliant!!
The fluid is blue, but so is the coolant, but I believe that you are correct in that it is washer fluid. I appreciate it, I just filled up my washer resevoir (with Orange, but previous was blue), so that definetly could be the issue.
I'm feeling dumb, but releaved. Thanks - Rich

when my bumper got ripped off on the freeway, my washer fluid was leaking
Not sure from where, the shop tighted the hose clamp and fixed it.
I fixed (i hope) a loose hose clamp today right in the same area your leak was from, i was leaking coolant. Feels good to tighten the clamp when its really loose

ugh, I have that issue and not looking forward to fixing it...
I think I'll do it when I have the bumper off to swap in the all-metal '93 intercooler. planning to get a large assortment of hose clamps and a dozen feet of new tubing. every time I fix one leak it starts leaking somewhere else, whole thing needs to be overhauled.

I just re-enabled them. Have been disconnected since '99, according to records...
which probably has a lot to do with the hoses and connections drying out. or maybe it was leaking beforehand. either way, I go skiing quite a bit with this car, and it's nice to have the washer functionality on the dirt back roads of maine and NH.
plus, thanks to kdays link, I'm going to pick up the Feico relay. This allows you to independently activate the windshield washers, with the headlight washers on-demand only.
