Oil Warning Light (False Positive?)
So pulled the car out of the garage and started to head up the street from my house..and my oil warning light comes on. So I turn around and pull back in the garage and shut her down. Check the oil..looks good...oil pressure 5 BAR...hmmm. Start car back up...never came back on again.
Wonder if the sensor is worn out?

how cold is it there?
and do you perhaps have a sludging issue?
when i had a blown head gasket, i had coolant in my oil, which thickened it up to the consistency of toothpaste. and this is in san francisco. in colder climates, i'd imagine a smaller level of contamination would thicken the oil more.
