Couldnt find any FD5POR plugs today..so going to give them a try. Just got back from a "quick" test drive...all seems fine. Still need to do the highway test....

New plugs seemed to have fixed my shutters in the higher gears..however now in the lower gears 6K and beyond she cuts out pretty dramatically. Guess back to the FD5POR when I can find em.

Wonder if the BKR7E from NGK which is colder then the 6's and the "recommended" plug for our cars on their website.

the gap was too big and I was getting miss under boost it took me a long time to find out that I need to gap them , after I lowered the gap it was OK until the electrode seperated from the ceramic part "I thing it was b/c of bad/weak coils"

If you wanna spend a little more $, and want extra security, go with the Denso Iridium IK24 or IK27. They cost about the same as the stock F5DPOR.
The stock F5DPOR are not as flexible to boost changes and heat ranges (which vary by mods) as some people think.
They are designed for a certain heat range.
Go outside that heat range, and they are worthless.
Running over 20psi requires a colder plug, and the stock F5DPOR cannot hold up for extended periods of boost.
Mess up a plug, then a coil, then a O2 sensor, then a cracked EM, then a piston....
And then people wonder what happened (while still swearing by the stock F5DPOR plugs!)
I've had to go through this many times.
