I am finally ready to buy my 5 spd 2000 1.8T and I am in the negotiating process. The dealer has come to $26000 with convenience package and sports package. Is it a good deal? Do you have any tips or suggestions?

Ross 10-25-1999, 07:08 PM I'm getting a 5 spd 2000 1.8T with Sport, Convenience, Bose, and Quattro for $27,025, so you may be able to do a little better. The first dealer I went to wouldn't come close to this price, though, so it may be worth taking a trip to another dealer. It seems like some dealers just refuse to negotiate. |
